                             The ALPRO WTA is an operating water supply system for all dental workplaces with the disinfection during the weekend. The ALPRO WTA was developed for dental practices without the legally required "air gap".

                            The water separation system ALPRO WTA decontamination system conforms to supply an integrated air gap (DVGW line) the new requirement of DIN 1988-4/ EN 1717 for the protection of drinking water, current since 1 January 2003.

                            The air gap means a physical separation (grade 5) between the instrument and the mains water supply.

                            The ALPRO WTA is equipped with a Weekend decontamination unit to disinfect and to prevent biofilm and limestone deposits (with Bilpron). This serves to ensure compliance to the EU Directive 98/83 of less than 100cfu (colony forming units) per ml of water, and avoids blockages of the water lines in hand pieces, multifunctional syringes,etc. when using Bilpron on a weekly basis. The use of Bilpron is economical, regardless of the number of the patients treated during the week.

                            The small size, quiet operation and the simple installation allow the ALPRO WTA to be set up in the surgery. The system has been specially designed for use within the dental practice with a water flow rate of more than 1.400 ml/ min.

                            The ALPRO WTA can be connected to any dental unit (please follow the manufacturer’s information).

                            The ALPRO WTA can easily be installed by an engineer from your dental depot.

                            The advantages of the ALPRO WTA:

                            •  It meets the standards DIN 1988-4 and EN 1717 for dental medical devices (surgery water is separated from the public water lines) and therefore prevents the back siphonage of water into the main drinking water supply.
                            • The disinfection of the surgery water lines is carried out weekly with Bilpron. It is simple, reliable and proved.
                            • The biofilm in the water lines which has built up over the week is easily removed by Bilpron during the weekly treatment.
                            • Limestone deposits are removed from the internal waterlines.
                            • Handpieces therefore cannot clog up so easily.
                            • The amount of the spray water is not influenced by water lines or tubes which become narrowed due to biofilm formation.
                            • Repairs and maintenance works are minimized .
